We attempted the rear entry a few yrs back from the baviaans side on 990's, and also turned around abouyt 3/4 of the way up, as we had no idea how tough it was going to get. seems like we did the right thing. :sip:
from what i heard that the only section (washed away road) that is a problem, definitely not for a 990 IMHO. need lighter bikes, in-case you fall either badly or a number of times ill think picking it up at those silly angles will take it out of you, and when you get tired that's when you get hurt. OR just blast your way to the top. either way risky. i would rather take it slow and steady and get there in one piece and enjoy the bash.
