Can somebody please switch on the light. ??? Being new to this game I see all these fancy descriptives being used and don't really have a cooken clue of their meaning :'( Can I safely assume these to be different subdivisions of offroad/DS (as apposed to road bikes?)

What are the different categories/classes and their meanings with a few bikes in each :-\
