Hey guys,
Have read extensively on the site (which is a wealth of info - thanks), and went yesterday to go and 'invest' in some new camping equip. All my current stuff is bakkie sized, and I just cannot fit the skottel on the bike...
Got the stuff from Cape Union Mart which I found to be pretty reasonable. Tent, sleeping bag & liner, gas cooker thingy, stool & pots 'n pans all for around R1500.
Set the tent up in tha yard yesterday after a couple of these (to simulate actual field conditions you understand...). Took all of 15 mins
and then came up with the brilliant idea of testing (how else will I know if it all works in the bush) it all out tonight in the Magaliesburg!!!
Will give a proper report on the equip, and my inability to use it correctly.
