Fine - Fail to display licence disc (No Windscreen) ???

Jip, that's the reason for my R300 love letter on my way home this afternoon.

Got pulled over by the traffic cops on my way home on the N7 at the weighbridge just before the Morningstar turn-off. I didn't mind stopping because I don't have anything to hide or run away from. Now my license is valid and my disk is under my cubby hole, which I showed to the cop on request. I was under the impression all was well, apparently the officer thought otherwise...

I got the following fine:
