A bakkie crashed into my bike last night.
I was waiting on Cnr of John Voster and Lenchen Avenue around 19H00 at a red light and this bloke with his bakkie slammed into my bike. He was busy on his blackberry and did not see the light change to red.
Bike is fine, just need to get a new rear tyre and a new exhaust system, as well as a quick overlook at the bike just to make sure that the impact didn't cause more trouble. The front break is making a funny noise after the bump (I was on the front break when he hit me)
I am a bit shaken. I used the car this morning, and stepped out at work as a mental wreck. Everyone seems to be out to kill the other road users....
