Thanks guys and gals for the comments. The riding here is wonderful ;D and I WILL be riding every weekend so I hope to post plenty of reports and pics from this play pit for DS bikes. Planning a work trip to Maun before the end of the month to recce some of the access dirt roads that we plan to use while filming there. 2000km in 3 days.....should be fun.  >:D

Wow !

New scenery and a lekker couple of roads !

Very nice and thanks for not just zipping by everything but actually taking time to stop and take photos.

Excellent !

AT LAST, hubby............

Ah, a true Wild Dog: communicates only via the Forum...!  ;D

In fact, for the first couple of days until we got our comms sorted out - the only way to communicate was via the forum.

The guys are raving about getting to ride a fast open race for a change. (crazy mofo's)
Its the desert 1000, but the bikes will do over 400km in the 2 days.

great going! waiting in anticipation for more :happy1:

If you're going to Maun suggest you go via Letlakane/Orapa one way and Gweta/Nata the other, will allow you to go and play a bit on the Makgadikgadi.  The road via Kang/Ghanzi is dead boring.

Nice going  :thumright:

I'm sure having the bike there is going to make a
world of difference
