Need some advice on buying my first adv bike PLEASE (Still need to do my learners though) :
I was browsing through gumtree/junkmail and had a look at the BMW GS650, Honda Transalp 700, ktm 640 adv and even the GS1150?
All of them fall inside the price range of 50k..
Some GS650 dakar’s/ktm 640 for around 40k and less in good nic.. (Suites’ my pocket)
Now I just want to hear from you “the experienced” riders, your thoughts on these bikes?
Not sure which one to buy, GS650 seems like the best option, though the Honda is newer (200, has a more powerful engine and better looking "on pictures" than the GS650.
Maintenance costs ext? (KTM!!)
I would like to do some off road riding (maybe to tour Mozambique) in the future, but will be doing road touring most of the time.
Any advice??
