While "under the hood" I also fitted a relay to switch the lights off while the starter operates, this helps conserve battery charge as the full charge is now used for starting and ignition.
The Hella part is 4RD 003 520-081 OR C4020 12V 5PIN change over relay. the 3080 will also work btw.
The normal closed contact set is used to supply the lights after the fuse (red wire), terminal 30 and 87A.
The relay is driven by the black wire from the starter relay and earthed on the other terminal, terminal 86 and 85.
