GARMIN REPAIRS / WARRANTY CLAIMS / SERVICING...
Hi All, for some years, we were a drop-off point for GARMIN SA, using NAVWORLD Cape Town, after the Navworld 'desk' at the big Camp & Climb was closed down, but then Navworld Cape Town then ALSO closed down some years back...
SO! we are again accepting GARMIN repairs, with a modest courier cost (R100) up to JHB, to Garmin SA, for repairs and/or replacement/evaluation, where appropriate, etc. (this means product delivered to us, at Flying Brick Store...)
GARMIN DECIDES WHAT COURSE OF ACTION TO TAKE! NOT FLYING BRICK!
A few 'ground rules':
1. There is a COURIER COST - R100 - to get product up to Garmin SA, and it goes ONCE per week, on a M-O-N-D-A-Y.
2. We do not CONTROL the turnaround time, so we cannot 'rush' anything...
3. We do not decide what is or is not 'warranty-able' - that is Garmin SA's expertise!
4. Allow up to 15 working days for the process, up & down...
5. Flying Brick will keep you updated on any cost(s) related to warranty/repair/and often, an upgrade-replacement...
