What up gents.
Looking to upgrade my commuter with something a bit bigger. Will probably be looking at a GS or Twin Africa.
Kawasaki Versys 2008 650CC:
Extras are: Upgraded Brake lines, Ceramic Coated Exhaust, Arrow Slip on Performance Exhaust, Performance Air Filter and a slightly higher ajustable screen for a bit more wind protection, Give Top Box. I have the spare keys for both the bike and Box.
New Perelli Diablo Rossa Corsa Tires. These are semi track tires but are rated as some of the best road tires to use on a road bike. It has more grip than I can handle and also not terrible on wet roads. Full service was done 13 September 2017 that included oil, oil filter, Performance Air Filter, chain and sprocket lube and new break fluid. Breaks pads are still at about 60% and doesn't wear as quickly as I thought.
Milleage on the bike now is 15440 kms as this was a daily commuter of roughly 20 kays round trip.
I bought this bike from another user on this forum so its been cared for properly. The bike has never been dropped or even let down softly.
