I have the following for sale:

1 x Windbluepower permanent magnet alternator : https://www.windbluepower.com/Permanent_Magnet_Alternator_Wind_Blue_Low_Wind_p/dc-540.htm
1 x Rectifier for the above : https://www.windbluepower.com/External_Rectifier_Connection_Kit_p/er-kit.htm
1 x Charge controller for 12V batteries : https://www.windbluepower.com/product_p/nc25-12v.htm

I was playing around with DIY windpower at a stage, but highveld wind is too unreliable to be really useful. I am putting in a 48V solar system, so the 12V bits and pieces are not going to be used.

Basically with the above you just need a battery and the rotor (which you can build or buy) and then you will be making power when the wind blows. Don't expect to supply ESKOM, but a nice project. Some ideas here : https://www.windbluepower.com/category_s/36.htm

Or connect a pully to your lawnmower and you have a 12V generator! Or microhydro. Or pedal power, whatever.

I have a flat plate that fits on the front, as well as a big and small sprocket and chain as well.

Cost for the lot new is $437 + shipping, I'll take R2500 negotiable.

I'll take some pics later and post them.
