Yebo, another boot debate (yes, I know there are many already, and I did a search for "Forma boots" before starting this).

I have a pair of tired Lookwell road boots. Very comfortable, but no ankle support (and they're caked in mud and disintegrating).
I have convinced myself that R3500 for a pair of boots is better than a broken ankle.

These boots will be used for commuting, general riding, and the odd section of gravel highway. As soon as I get to work, I change into work shoes, so I'm not concerned about the boots not looking smart. I need something that is durable, and able to withstand being worn 4-5 days a week (short commute, 15min each way).
I don't ride in rain, and probably won't be venturing through mud any time soon. I don't mind my feet getting wet, as long as the boots can be tried out fairly easily.

So I have narrowed my search down.
Forma Dominator Comp, which seem to be stocked by iWarehouse.

Thoughts?

Or the UFO Hero boots, found at the N2 Bike Shop.

I tried on the UFO's. I wear a size 7 shoe normally, and tried on the size 8 boot. It was painfully tight on one section. Also, not sure if it was just that boot, but the bottom wasn't flat. Tried the size 9, instantly more comfortable, and flat to boot (ha ha ha). Didn't really walk around as I was sporting a somewhat sprained ankle at the time.
Very little info on the UFO's, and the videos that are out there are in Italian.
Any experience?

Been watching Gumtree for weeks to try get a decent pair of second hand boots, but they're all up country  :-\

Cheers
