This picture has a story to it!
So we were 4 musketeers, and 3 of these decided to cross this bit - towards the far Left.
First Jon gets stuck but closely followed by Hans who followed him, eh, closely!
Then Ian raced to their aid but crosses this bit without any ado, however (apparently!) half a meter to the Right from where the bike is buried - mine yeah.
Before burial though I viewed all this happening from a little distance as well as form more high up.... from where I could clearly see that the 3 were headed for a trap, a dead-end, a river snaking through the valley - so I decided to stay put and see if they would make it out of that valley, before I would attempt to cross this bit(ch?) ;)

I heard later that I completely-ignored or refused-to-hear various cries for help from various gents drowning in some grassy abyss - to which my then-reply still stands, I genuinely did not realize this mishap-ditch was so threatening!
Anyway, when they made it to further-away-from-me, and thus comms (screaming yer lungs oot) impossible, it was my turn to "quickly" cross this trench ..... as easy as Ian had done of course.

Refer above, Ian, and later Hans, had to come back to help me getting my bike out of this rather moist cellar!

Again, my apologies for have been deaf, dumb and blind Gents! (y)

Thanks all for the cool comments and likes etc, but I'm not sure anyone is actually looking at the pics, otherwise someone would have noticed IanB photobombing my pic in post #4 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Don't you worry, I have been studying your pictures. And I have come to the conclusion that you have done a lot of Photoshopping in this ride report. All the photos of @BuRP show him without a cigarette and those who have ridden with him know that Bart without a cigarette is something no one has ever seen.

looks like a grea ride, do have a route map would like to do it with like minded mates

After getting cleaned up and refreshed in the river it was approaching noon and the sun was now high in the sky. Unfortunately there is not a lot of shade in Sehlabathebe and it was getting quite hot. My mate IanB tends to complain when we stop for lunch out in the open so we had to find him a shady spot to stop and rest.

This part of Sehlabathebe is amazing for its unusual rock formations and natural rock pools or tarns, as well as the stunning views of the Devils Knuckles
