We have partnered up with Freedconn to bring their products back into the country, on a small scale initially with two models, the R3 Pro (in stock) and the Hero (shipping).
The R3 Pro is a hybrid unit, combining a Bluetooth Comm Unit with a 2K action/dash camera.
Specs are as follows:
2000mah battery (6 hours recording, 12 hours intercom, 30 hours music playback)
2K 140° Camera with WiFi Hotspot to stream to your phone via app ( can use either internal or external microphone)
Adjustable camera angles, 360° rotation in the vertical axis, 30° lens rotation to account for differing helmets
Comm Function for up to 6 Riders, compatible with other brands (Sena, Cardo etc)
Comm Range up to 1000m
Sony HiRes audio speakers and microphones (both button and boom mikes, swappable)
Memory card slot for camera (recommended minimum 64Gb)
USB-C charging port
In short, this unit will provide you with both audio and video capability on your helmet, allowing you to record your rides, chat to mates, or just simply listen to music as the kilometres fly by.
The camera comes with a loop recording function, saving on storage space, and also allowing you to capture your greatest or worst moments. The loop recording also has a G-sensor function that will lock a video if it senses a crash, preventing the file from being recorded over should you run out of storage space
