Hi all,
I took one of the deals on the remaining stock of the 790Rs and my 690 has to go. I spent a lot of time and money to set it up as a lightweight bike that can go long distances and handle well. This is the 2014 with the ride by wire throttle and the ABS. It has always been service regularly (valve clearance always checked) and the the rocker arms have been replaced with the later design as a precaution. New chain and sprockets about 8k ago.
I have all the bits to take it back to standard and those are also included.
The bike as it stands has the following mods / add ons:
14l Safari Tank in clear with Guglatech prefilter- great because you can see your fuel level and they are incredibly tough.
Highway Dirt bikes Rally Lite Fairing with Scotts mount and handgaurds - very light and very tough
Front forks have 57Nm spring weight, revalved midvalve by MP Custom and the JBI Suspension Pro Valve Base valves
Unifilter Aus Foam Air filter.
Rear shock spring is 75Nm, Shock has the Xtrig preload adjuster and has also been revalved by MP Custom Valve (Martin Paetzold)
Adventurespec Alloy Skid plate - Very solid and protects rear brake master cylinder
Golan mini filter in line before injectors - easily field cleanable
ABS Dongle - basically you default to only front wheel ABS which is great off road and no fidlling.
Sidestand dongle - in case the sisdestand override switch is damaged and you are stuck!
Wings pipe
CJ Designs Billet fuel filler with integrated breather and the Guglatech filter
Also included is the following (not on the bike):
A good quality stainless shock collar
A variety of springs
Rally Raid rear tank for this model
Billet fuel filler (not CJ Designs)
Original pipe (with cat)
Original fairing / light
Original rear tail piece
Etc.
I will take off (to go on my new bike):
The GPS and cradle
The Scotts Damper (but the mount will stay)
The Rally pegs (will put back originals - still brand new)
Pics attached. Rear plastics are scuffed from the Coyote rackless luggage
Any questions fire away. Bike is in Cape Town.
I will answer questions on here but if you are in a hurry feel free to whatsapp 078 789 six three seven nine.
Thanks!
