Having been on a ride in the Valley yesterday where one of the guys was riding his BMW G450X I started to think.
They are well priced secondhand now, in the 30-45K region and would make a nice playbike alternative to my XR650L.
Small tank I know but then there are aftermarket options for this. Now my sorted XR is about the same value so I could
trade one for the other. For the big road mileage touring I have my NC700X, so the playbike would be used for valley rides
and the odd longer ride like Lesotho. A bit worried about the maintenance aspects of the 450X, engine longevity and so on.
The new bike has to be road legal though so I can ride it where I want to play.
Other options like XR400R and DRZ400E not included in this poll. Its just between the XR and the 450X
Now a few of you would have had some experience with the G450X. Please enlighten me. What say the dawgs?
