Gatvol Ride...

Gatvol of job searching, I needed an excuse to get out of the house, to clear the head....etc. etc..

I started from Kempton Park and headed for Pomona to ride some of the plot roads. Took 9th Road out of Pomona towards Bapsfontein and discovered some back roads.

1st Pic is where I turned off 9th Road. In the second picture you can see the path coming down from the road.
3rd Pic, about 2kms from 9th road.
4th Pic, came across these old graves.

Came across this dog next to the railway line. Must be one of the farmers in the area's dog. Ended up at the Bapsfontein Airfield. Whatever is left of it.

Know the feeling and done a few of these "kop-skieter" rides around here too. Just an hour or two is enough the clear the cobwebs. I can recommend these little rides...nice to come back and stop next to the cages all covered in dust ;D
