Its not often in SA that you hear of a company going out of their way to back their products so its worth sharing here as well.
Its bike related because our bikes run on petrol.
I bought one of those Addis 10L red petrol cans a while back, mainly for pre-mixing 2T oil for my KDX. It worked great for a while and then the cap split that stopped it from sealing. So its was then useless. I then got the 25L on the same brand, ended up bouncing the cap between the two containers till that also split.
A lot of people I know have has this happen to them , almost everyone I know.
So it turns out someone contacted them and was sent a few new lids of a new design.
I did the same and they are sending me the same.
I got hold of Fern Cameron [[email protected]] and she made me happy. Happy Time!
Well done ADDIS for this, the containers were not that expensive and I never expected them to support it like this.
So because they are so great they should also get a plug, one of the handiest things I have bought from them is the Sumpy. An oil draining container with build in drip tray, it makes it so simple to change oil, just drain close and take to the nearest recycle centre.
