Hello everyone, I have recently retired and unfortunatly this retirement was cut short due to me breaking my leg, which has led me back to the UK where I am waiting for it to heal, perhaps in another 6 months I will walk again
So I need to set a goal for myself and this is what I thought, I have a R1200 GS sitting in Trafalgar and I thought it would be very nice to ride it up through Africa to Alexandria in Egypt and then on to Europe, now the problem is how do I get from the relative safety of SA to Alexandria with all my things intact
I have looked at tracks4africa and have seen an intereresting route under Voetspore by Johan Badenhorst, but have no experiance of such a trip IE required paperwork for boarders typical gear places to stay even converting the nice computer route to real life however I really would like to do this
I would like as much help as you want to give me please
