Grippy footpegs for Honda Varadero??

I have found that the rubber type standard foot pegs that I have on my Varadero gets a bit slippery when wet. What are the options? What other bikes' footpegs will fit and what can I expect to spend? I think the "foot pegz" product looks great, but in my opinion is over priced. As Lito said in another thread (yeah... I did a search and found nothing really on the forum), for that much I'd rather upgrade the suspension.

Obviously one solution is to stay out of water, but what's the point??
