When I read Blazes' trip report I decided that I have to do an overnighter or weekender to the Groot Marico.
So this is a planning thread - no date yet - just a request for ideas.
I have in mind, but open to ideas:-
-meeting at Harties bright and early on a Saturday, brekkie, head out on Mafikeng road kitted up with tent, cold stone jug and cask of Jeripigo for a camping spot (Malgat's buddy or Oomie-by-die-oog).
-Establish camp and head out for sightseeing rides in area.
-Back to camp, sip mampoer, intellectual discussions and Bosman readings as per bosberaad.
-Sunday own arrangements home.
