after having my bike for 2 weeks now , and assesing the damage , getting the insurance assesor to sign off and agree to 37 k damage

the agents phone and ask me that there is a problem with the spot lights  , they not working , they ask me if they were working before the accident , i answer yes ( truth)

they  now say  that the assesor wants to see first , and that will only take place in 2-3 days , if there are no scuff marks on the switch itself , assesor says " more than likely wont be covered "  WTF !!!!!

now  agent tells me , worst case scenario ... ins dont cover ,  do i want them to replace said switch at  .. wait for it .. R 1000.OO  WTF!!!!

a foookin switch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   

ok  sooooo  lets say that i have to fix meself
anyone here know if the "switch" contains any fancy stuff .... like its own self contained nuclear reactor or summink
or is it "do able" on the fly ???
