The bike was battling to start with the starter sounding like it was straining.
Took it out to see if it needed lubrication but when I stripped it I found one of the magnets had fallen off and destroyed itself !!
Bits and pieces all inside the housing.
Amazing that it wa actually turning at all !!
The question is; Do I need to buy a whole new starter from BMW or is there a cheaper fix ???
