So, got this email from my mate Geoff last week -
Friday 1 Feb - Cape Town to Swellendam - sleep at B&B have not chosen a place yet. We planning to leave around lunch time and go along the N2 but nothing is cast in stone.
Sat 2 Feb - Swellendam - Suurbrak - Gysmanshoek Pass - van Wyksdorp for lunch at the Barking Frog - Rooiberg Pass- Calitzdorp - Ladysmith - sleep at Koedoeskloof https://www.koedoeskloof.co.za/home. If there is time we will go through Seweweekspoort turn around and come back the same way.
Sun 3 Feb - Back home. Bob has worked out a gravel route that goes via Laingsburg to Montagu.
Leaving in the morning and can't wait. I've never done Gysmanshoek or Rooiberg pass. Has anyone been there recently? How are the roads?
I've got the camera charged ready for a RR on Monday. :ricky:
