People. I'm here to tap into some knowledgeable minds.
Anybody have tips/hints/ideas/fully fledged routes from Harrismith to Durban?
I did my first long(ish) distance trip earlier this month. (sorry, no Pics...still need to save up the money for a decent camera
)
The route I took coming down from Durban to Clarens was via Winterton, Bergville and the Little Switzerland , Sterfontein route.
Enjoyed it, but found it to be too much tar, and not enough dirt riddled fun.
So, heading back to Durban. I was hoping to do the Lesotho, down Sani thing...but common sense, and a forgotten passport have convinced me otherwise. (I think a lil more experience would be good before I tackle Sani)
So, back to my original question. Anybody got routes for me, from Clarens, or Harrismith (anywhere in the region) to Durban?
Something that keeps me of the main roads, with some exciting dirty sections along the way. Doesn't have to 100% dirt, and nothing too technical, I am a novice and my tires are not meant to take much offroad abuse.
