I know it's too little time but I have 5~7 days in March, basic camping equipment and a 990. Wife says "Just go to Golden Gate or something". Urgh :
I know March is way off but I have lots of crazy stuff happening in the next few months and need to plan early.
Last week I was thinking Bloem -> Katse -> Sani -> Giant's Castle
Yesterday I was thinking Marloth Park -> Mozambique Coast -> St Lucia -> home through the Midlands
Today I'm figuring out something involving Bulawayo -> Francistown -> Makgadikgadi...
I count my blessings to be spoilt for choice like this.
All I want is peace, solitude, scenery and some lekker dirt riding. I'm not one to take hundreds of km of dirt just because it's there; I'd rather it takes me somewhere special or takes me on a more scenic route than normal.
I also need to pop my crossing-a-border-on-a-bike cherry.
I'll be travelling light, on a budget and hopefully alone, so I don't want anything too technical/dangerous and I need at least one off day with no riding.
I want to try and stay well under 700km per day, much less if it's dirt.
Please help this urban adventurer see some cool shit :thumleft:
