I see that there are many technical boffins on this forum and quite a lot of very clever "Magiver" type guys. I am looking for someone who could do some parts fitting for me.
1) I got some generic hand guard / aluminium protector things, with my new bike, from the dealer. Unfortunately, they don't fit properly and apparently need to be bent or cut or whatever to fit correctly??
2) The dealer supplied me with spot lights that I asked for, but they don't fit sw motech drop bars properly. The only place that they currently fit is on the side of the bars. This is pretty useless as they will be crushed on the very first drop.
I need to ask if there is anybody out there who could do the needed mods to my KLR so that these 2 accessories are fitted properly? I'm not looking for a freeby or a cheapy, but I am looking for somebody who takes pride in their work and will do the job properly. It makes no difference to me whether you work from home or are an established shop, I just want the job done properly as I am not mechanically inclined and would only damage the bike or the fittings. I'm one of those where DIY means "Destroy it yourself".
Any and all help or suggestions / recommendations would be appreciated.
