Hepco&Becker or KTM Pannier Brackets?

I need some help pleeze from the experts out there. I want to get pannier brackets to use mainly as protection for my Akrapovics in the case of a spill - but also to use for soft luggage - to keep it off the exhausts. I may at a later stage get the actual panniers but probably not. Which are better - Hepco or KTM and if Hepco - where does one order them? Any help will be greatly appreciated - heck rewarded even with some beers or wotevva!  I suppose second hand one's are hard to come by?
