One of my great joys is to leave Gamkaskloof early morning and doing the 47 km to the exit. Fast.
Last weekend it dawned on me once again how incredibly capable and hardy our motorcycles are.
Taking big hits on really rocky roads the suspension and tires should explode and fall apart.
But they don't.
I recall riding my old 1150 and when standing you could see the front forks actually flex.
Always had visions of catastrophic failure.
Never happened.
All hail the modern motorcycle.
