Good morning
So I took the plunge and bought the Hero Xpulse, 2 weeks ago.
His name is Deadpool.
I love the look of the Sym NH-T, but it seems they are struggling with stock (especially 125cc - so my son can use it in 2 years time).
The Suzuki Vstrom 250SX is such a beautiful bike, I was in love the moment I saw it. This bike just looks Gorgeous. After alot of research (mostly comprised of youtube videos) I decided not to buy the Vstrom as it has cast wheels, 1 year warranty and the Suzuki agents service prices is more expensive than Hero (I hope I dont get what I pay for ).
The Hero has a 5 year warranty, with 6000KM service interval (same as Suzuki, Sym is every 3000KM) and servicing is between R600 and R1000.
We have only done 160km to date and I am keeping the revs under 5000rpm.
Fit and finish is excellent, I just need some Locktite for the left rear indicator nut that keep vibrating loose.
The best part was I got the Xpulse for R45 995.00 from FireditUp wit 8km on the clock. This is only R3000.00 more expensive than the Sym and R13000 less expensive than the Suzuki, but now I got a truly go anywhere bike (even though its notnthe quickest).
