Hello Fellow Adventurers

Price reduced to sell. Considering a lifetime of losing money on bikes, this one won't be any different for me. Staying true to my reputation!
The new boney is coming, so no point having two bikes here.

Its a sales pitch, which could read like a ride report / bike review:
Price: R38000
Odo: 1300km
Year: 2022

In October of 2022 I bought my first bike in six years, this Hero 200cc. This is my 39th bike in 32 years, so yes I do have a habit of not holding on to any machine for very long.
The bike has only covered about 1200km in six months which was mostly taking one of my two young daughters on Sunday rides on the western back roads of PE. The bike handles city and extra-urban rides wonderfully. The power and handling impressively took care of total two-up weight of about a 110kg.
I did one 80km gravel trip, which showed up the limitations of this brave machine. Riding on the Elands River Road, which I know very well, I soon found the limits of the suspension. Once I adjusted my speed down to match the terrain, I enjoyed the ride as much as any previous rides on enduro bikes, 650cc thumpers or several boxers I owned over the years.
The tar road from Patensie to PE was fun too, as the Hero easily keeps up with cars doing 80 -100km/h on the secondary routes. It is also perfectly composed on the N2-highway at 110km/h, but the motor revs high and has little left for acceleration or over-taking.
I found a KLR650 again and will part with the Hero R38 000.
Extras include a centre stand, seriously good and lowered foot pegs, a WR250F end-can (with baffle in place) which was fitted to resemble the stock look of the bike, and a 40t rear sprocket (38t is standard, but the 40t just takes better care of the pick up through the gears).
The bike comes with crash bars, bash plate, oil cooler and front ABS as standard.
I changed the oil and cleaned the oil strainer at 500km and again at 1200km(Castrol Activo 10W40)
Metzeler Sahara tyres and O-ring chain also comes as standard.
The luggage rack with back rest has been removed as it will go onto my next bike.
