After a short but enjoyable visit to my dear old friend and his family in Jeffries Bay it was time to return.
Once again I sought out the old route (known as the Garden route - possibly due to all the roots) and was stopped by a nasty road sign (of the closed variety) and had to make do with the less interesting route till I found the exit I wanted. This too indicated that the road was closed, but I knew better.
The old Bloukrans pass, in typical unkempt state was interesting with it's many bends and overhanging trees leading to a climactic pause to fly my trusty drone for a better view - only to find that I was on a hairpin bend.
Wishing I could spend more time in the area to relax and take a siesta, I had to move on to Nature's Valley for more aero- antics.
