honda nx4 or yamaha xt250

just viewed a nx4 and it looks like it should be a good bike, but the finish looks like it's built in china, in which case,
you may as well get a jonway/jailing.
any comments on the new xt 250 or honda xr250 tornado.
the bike is for 95 % tar commuting in grahamstown, with occasional trips to port alfred.
the reason for dualpurpose, confort, and bad road conditions.
