honda transalp max load

hi

looking at the honda transalp's specs i see the following:

Max Load : 180kg

know whats up with that?

me + the missus would leave about 5 to 10 kg for luggage???

and know dont say buy a 1200gs, buy ktm990 or buy a africa twin!!!!

i did the old bike think - but i'm thinking i wanna do the new bike sent in the near future and i'm looking for something that would allow the missus to go with....

i love the suzuki v-strom but that is to road orientated - want something that has at least some kind of off-road ability
