Honda Tygerberg has now put together a package where they will 'Adventurize' a Honda NC750X, and all the added parts -see list below - can be supplied and fitted at time of purchase, and then included in the payment plan (if so desired).
(Expected R100K all-in price)
List of added parts - not ALL shown in this picture:
1. SW Motech crash Bars
2. Flying Brick Bash Plate
3. Big Bag over-seat pannier bag
4. SW-Motech wide foot pegs, with optional rubber inserts (not yet fitted when picture was taken...)
5. AeroTrim windscreen spoiler
6. SW-Motech handlebar raisers
7. LED spots - not yet fitted
8. Flying Brick waterproof crash-bar bags - not shown in picture
9. HT front mudguard spacers, to lift front mudguard for knobblies
10. Karroo 3 tire on back, not sure why they have a trail Wing on the front, will 'chat' to them about that!
11. Barkbusters hand protectors
12. Clear headlight lens protector (not shown).
13. B&G radiator guard - fitted, but not shown.
Next steps - either Martin Paetzold or Superfoxy will be redoing the front suspension: I don't know the details but probably increased, progressive suspension, etc.
Guys - we KNOW there are other (better?) options for true Adventure bikes out there - Honda Tygerberg is making this their project, since this bike has so much traction in the market - amazing fuel economy, masses of low-down torque, so constructive input is welcomed, just don't turn this into 'this is not a true Adventure Bike' thread - take it for what it is - an interesting project, and requested by a good number of riders.
Hopefully a 19" wheel will follow in time (Internationally) etc.
Honda Tygerberg - well done on a great project! icon_thumleft
