I have an old XL 500 that I bought with my first paycheck back in 1994. Needless to say there is a lot of sentement attached. Back then it required a lot of work, wich I did over the years. Now I am riding a KTM 990 and the Honda gets very little love. In fact it's rusting to bits. Mechanically it's OK but I woudl love to restore this to it's former glory. I would have loved to take this on as aproject myself, but no time.
I am looking for someone in the Durban area to take this on as a project. It can take time, but I am looking for someone that knows his stuff and would not charge the earth either.
