The head of the bolt is badly damaged...a normal socket or ring spanner does not bite anymore.
1st, Do not ask me how this came about..I have 2 boys and neither admits that it was him...
My next step will be to buy a socket with more. smaller internal "cut-outs" - somebody noted that they work better on nearly round bolt heads, (is this even so?) then
use this with my small electrical drill, which has a sort of impact drill function.
I have a feeling this will not work.
Any suggestions other than welding a bolt onto the damaged one, - very extreme and high risk but should do the trick... extreme
