Let us learn from each other. Show a few pics of your bike, fully packed and ready to travel, whether gravel or tar.
And give a short description of what you pack and modifications to your bike/accessories.
I will start with mine.
Normally I travel 50/50 gravel/tar.
Clothing includes cool, loose fitting pants for after the shower at the destination (or swim in the dam...standing under the windmill...)
Slip-on plakkies type shoes to rest the feet from the boots
Tent
Sleeping bag
Those aluminium foil type space blankets for cold nights
A very small battery operated lantern/torch
Head lamp
Small braai grid
Bare essential tools (tyre repair plugs etc.)
Small gas stove
Waterbottle with fire bucket
Pre-mixed coffee, suger and powdered milk
Tri-pod for my camera (both still and video works on the same tri-pod)
Small folding chair (3-legs)
Self inflating mattress (barely large enough for my back)
Small pillow
Tube fastened to the pannier frames with my fly-fishing rod in. Reel goes in top-box
That's about it!
