How to meet other WD's

I did the Brian memorial ride on Sunda with my daughter, it was cool and we wore our WD vests with pride. Clearly there were other WD's there, but there was no way of knowing or meeting the guys. Standing on a table and shouting isn't my style.

Any ideas on how to find other Dogs at biggish gatherings, ? I know I am going to get some wise answers  , but it would have been cool to meet some of the other guys on Sunday.
