Use the tip or don't.......... however given the amount of riders that have lost their screwtops, here's a really quick and easy - AS WELL AS SECURE way to prevent it from falling off (although tightening it properly does work as well)
2 x Pop Rivets + Stainless steel bracket........... + 200mm Plastic coated cable with 2 thick earth crimp connectors.
I placed the bracket in the middle on the outside of the lid, drilled 2 x 5mm holes and then used two large galvanised washers (you can use any plate for this - I just grabbed the first thing available!) to hold the pop-rivets in place.
Pop the bracket on as per pics.
Make up the cable + crimp ends and bolt onto your bike or the tooltube holding bolt.
The cable will then match the bracket allowing you to secure it with a small lock....
Safety from falling off and Security from prying hands - all sorted!
PLEASE NOTE that we have to buy the Tooltubes in batches - there are no spares available and if you lose the lid - you will have to buy another Goosetoob!
