I have joined the dark side!

Hi all, I have had my offer on a 03 950 adventure accepted today. The bike belongs to to a fellow dog called Gavin and mechanically seems to be vey well looked after. Cosmetically she is ok, bearing in mind it is a 9 year old duel purpose motorcycle. I am just seeking a little reassurance from the KTM fraternity considering I have only had GS's.

Are these things as cool as I thing they are? Is there anything I should be aware of in terms of inherent issues?
