I know it was mentioned a while back, but just a reminder and price update.
The entire South Africa's 1:50 000 topographic (Raster images) maps are availble on 6 dvd's.
Each dvd has a pdf contents, and the maps themselves are .TIF images, so relatively easy to find the one you want.
So in this age of netbooks. Copy and paste to hard drive.
available from rural developmetn and land reform office (Chief directorate Geo Spatial Info). In Cape Town the office is in Mowbray.
Total cost: R126. :biggrin:
