OK, I dont know about the rest of you, but this was a crappy week.  Good men passed away, the politics are crazy, Mugabe is stil alive and kicking.......    If I don't get someting positive in my life to look forward to I am going to go crazy.

Both me and Stephan read a lot.  Everyone who have been in our house will tell you that.  I would really like to pass some of the joy we found in reading on to people who appreciate it.

BOOK DRIVE FOR THE AGED

My mom is the library lady at the old age home where she and my dad is living.  They are on the State Library Service rotation roster and the pickings are slim.  Don't get me wrong, they appreciate what they get but according to my mom they are seeing the same books now for the 6th time.  Even they are now starting to remember the stories by heart.   :)  She says they don't have Altzheimers yet, so they would like some new "blood".  Don't make the mistake of thinking that they only read "Goeie more Mevrou Dominee" books.  One old lady had a weekly order for a "Matras brander" until she passed away last year at 90 something. Another problem with the books are that they are in small print.  They would love books in big print.  Will someone join me in getting involved there?

BOOK DRIVE FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED KIDS

There is a million places where we can help there.  Any suggestions?  I am game.  Have bike.  Not scared.  Will travel.

Anyone with me?
