For years I have been looking for someone with an S that wanted to swap suspension with my Adv, I bought the Adv because I wanted ABS, finally happened today....swapped suspension with a 950 S, needed to swap the centrestand and sidestand as well, and make up a bracket to hold the ABS/Speedo sensor, the bottom section of the forks on the 950 are different to the 990, simply because the 950 never catered for ABS. Sidestand switches are also different, but simple to swap parts around....
The 950 adapted everything with no plans having to be made, besides the front standard mudguard, the front bottom bolts are differently spaced, but the owner of the 950 wants to fit the high mudguard anyway.
Anyone have a set of 950 brake pipes spare? He will need the two long pipes like the 990 has, cannot run the one caliper pipe over the wheel any more.
