Okay Dawgz, I guess the title of this thread really answers my rhetorical question, but never mind.

I've had a look at some okes (okay, Camelman in particular  ;D) plans for trips and it seems to me that some guys like to really punish their bums with 900 km a day being nothing out of the ordinary.

While I have done 1300 km in one day once, I prefer shorter distances. When going off-road, I don't like more than 500 km a day, if that much.

I like to keep it shorter, more technical, and finish the day off with lots of cold beer and a decent plate of food. Even if I have to braai. I'll do the blikkieskos thing on a two- or three-dayer. But no more. Did 13 months in Nam/South Angola, thanks.

Dear Abby, does this make me a softie? Am I getting old? Is my next ride a Zimmerframe and where can I get a special on adult diapers?

PS, does Viagra interfere with heart pills?
