And heres another little mod I have done. I have since spraypainted the foam (which is open cell foam - not ideal - rather get closed cell foam so it doesnt absorb any water) - black, which has made the foam a lot harder.. Not ideal either but far prettier.
Heres a picture. I managed to get a lot of tools in there and I have done a ton of corrugations and ridden a nice technical section in the meantime - perfect - no tools have come out.
How'd I make it? With a pair of scissors, and a soldering iron. Trace out the tool patterns you want, get the iron hot, and cut out the shape with the tip (if you get a nice flat wide tip, much better), and then cut out the shape with the scissors if you are struggling to melt the foam with the iron.
