Info needed - Honda ATC 250R trike

I helped a friend "clean out his garage" again and scored a semi-complete Honda 250 trike! Now I need some info please. Apparently it's a CR250 motor (or similar). Anybody know anything about them?

The motor was running before he started building it into a go-cart, but it got some water damage. Not sure how bad yet, as I just pulled the top off and opened the clutch cover. So far it doesn't look too bad....
