i have a similar question, also thought my milage was low. i think if you keen it below 5000 revs you should get great milage, but then you on the road for longer.
i want to get the IMS 6.6 gallon gas tank, thinking that i can get more fual for longer trips, but the standard 2006 KLR tank is 24 litres, the IMS 6.6 gallons is which is 24.9 litre. so whats the point?
