Is the RAM Bracket and Garmin Zumo Cradle reliable

I recently bought myself the Garmin Zumo 400.

The GPS seems quite strong but I am worried that either the RAM Bracket or the standard garmin cradle will somehow come loose or break of while doing some serious off-roading or even just riding harsh corrugated road. 

Does anyone have any experience with the standard mounting equipment to either reassure me or advise me in what to do to prevent such a tragedy.
