is there hope for a female DS rider?

As i read this section, i become more and more intimidated by all the knowledge, which leaves me asking one question? Is there hope for a female DS rider, who does not want to take the enjin and sprocket etc out over the weekend, and oil the sump, and whatever...

Would my bike be okay, if i leave all the servicing to the BMW at 10k intervals? would i be faced with serious problems with my bike if i do offroad on a regular basis?

Am i forced to become a weekend mechanic ?

I know most men do the fixing because they like it..... what must i do , can i trust my 10k km service schedule to get it going right?
